I don't know where it originated but there is an old saying or maybe something Confucius said or wherever it can from, that every happen home has to have chicken of some sort in the kitchen.

Some people are fascinated with chickens of all kinds. This is an 8-10 foot metal chicken that sits in the back yard of very large, million dollar house in Arroyo Grande California.

The landscaping is impeccable and right in the middle of the backyard sits this huge piece of yard art. The own is obviously very proud of this big bird because it is the best view of the house that can be seen from the road.
