This photo was take standing on the spit that forms the natural harbor in Morro Bay. Hidden by the boats is the famous Bayside Cafe, best fish'n'chips on the planet according to some. Just the other side of that huge stand of trees in the background is the famous Morro Bay golf course. Or the poor man's Pebble Beach as some refer to it. I personally think it is the best bargain in golf anywhere. Incredible ocean views including the Morro Rock, can be found on nearly hope on the course. And for the price of one round of golf at Pebble you can play Morro Bay, eat breakfast at the Seaside Cafe, and lunch, and dinner and spend the night in one of many hotels in the area. And still have money in your pocket. Why do I sound like the Chamber of Commerce? lol
